L&A Partners is a recruiting firm specialized in financial careers. We are currently seeking on behalf of a client, an international listed company, a Plant Controller (m/f).
Key Responsibilities
The role of the Plant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operations in order to guarantee and optimise the plant's financial performance and competitiveness :
- Establishing forecasts and budgets in addition to keeping company accounts and corporate financial statements
- Conducting all financial analyses for key decisions and reporting results
- Proposing necessary action plans to meet set targets
- Building contacts with banking, financial and tax organizations
- Guaranteeing the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Unit and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules
- Employee is informed about Code of ethics, Code of management and being Group philosophy and is respecting and following it
Specific function
- Ensure the budgetary control of the plant
- Identify and analyze the variances between the forecasted and actual results
- Determine and ensure the follow-up on raw materials and monitor the margins on goods sold
- Validate the economic justification of investments and ensure their follow-up.
- Develop plant budgets and associated forecasts, as well as plant reporting in accordance with Group procedures and deadlines
- Propose and support suggestions when decisions committing the plant are made
- Participate in the development of action plans and ensure their financial evaluation and follow-up
- Control the plant's operating cash flow, especially investment cash flow and accounts, receivables, payables and inventories
- Ensure the management of the dedicated financial team (3 people + 1 SSC)
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance
- Extensive experience in Finance / Controlling in manufacturing environment
- Team management experience and a strong sense of teamwork
- Proactivity, drive, high commitment and energy, leadership
- Ability to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities

- Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
