L&A Partners is a recruiting firm specialized in financial careers. We are currently seeking on behalf of a client, an international listed company, a Senior Internal Auditor (m/f).

The senior internal auditor plans and conducts audits on ist own, including preparation, follow-up and leading audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing multiple audits at a time, proactively managing audits and audit teams and conduct them in an controlled environment. Scope are all corporate areas, national and international (mainly Europe), on-site and remotely.
• Examining: 1/ the effectiveness of internal controls systems; 2/ the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, tools and systems; 3/ Evaluate the individual risk of each possible deviation and propose adequate measures. Analyze financial viability and compliance with standards
• Acting as a reliable single-point-of-contact for auditees. Prepare auditees for audit, communicate the requirements of Corporate Audit to them. Conducting interviews with auditees and risk owners on operational, team-lead level and level of local management. Aggregate the collected information, analyze it and transform the results into audit statements. Ensure a respectful, non-judgmental, unbiased, factual, correct and precise way of communication in speaking and writing.
• Determining ways of improving effectiveness of controls, efficiency of processes, tools and systems based on results of interviews and other examining activities. Check feasibility, consequences and economic appropriateness of determined improvements.
• Defining audit work programs in autonomy, creating reports for Audit Managers and Head of Corporate Audit.
• Recommend and agree action plans together with auditees which are suitable for follow-up-activities

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience (internal audit or financial audit in a consulting firm).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English & German.
• Very good motivation even in challenging environments and long-lasting projects
• Always focused on most important and relevant topics
• Proactive planning and creative problem handling
• Integrity is mandatory

This position can be located either in Augsburg, Lippstadt or Hannover.
